The 1st Annual Hollywood Film Awards® honored Kirk Douglas with the first Hollywood Lifetime Achievement Award. Douglas came to silver screen stardom during the Golden Age of Hollywood in films like "Ace In the Hole", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and "Paths of Glory".
The second award of the night was the Hollywood Visionary Ward, given to photographer and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inductee, Graham Nash.

Richard D. Zanuck and David Brown were both awarded the Hollywood Outstanding Achievement in Producing Award in its first year. Zanuck won the Academy Award for Best Picture with 1989's "Driving Miss Daisy". A long-time partner of Zanuck's, Brown has produced both films and Broadway musicals.
