Movie fans and the public at large voted online for their
favorite movie of 2005. Below are the movies and the results of the voting. "Stars Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith," directed by George Lucas, received the most votes and won the "Hollywood Movie of the Year Award" as the public's favorite. More than 70,000 people voted for their favorites and the voting site received 20,000,000 impressions.
The nominees below were selected by the Hollywood Film Festival
Award Committee and the final award was
presented to George Lucas at the Hollywood Movie Awards Gala
