1) THE ART OF THE 3-MINUTE PITCH

Host: CARLOS DE ABREU, co-author of Opening the Doors to Hollywood

Whether at Sunday's Pitch Sessions or on the telephone, writers and filmmakers repeatedly face the challenge of having only a few minutes to convince agents, producers, and financiers to look at their projects. This hands-on workshop will reveal the essential elements of a powerful pitch, show you what you must include -- and omit -- from your presentation, and help you prepare a pitch that guarantees that the people in power will read your script, book, or outline. Selected participants will also receive direct feedback on their pitches.

2) PRACTICING YOUR PITCH - MORNING SESSION

Host: DONIE NELSON, Career and Marketing Strategist

Consultants and Producers will participate in a live pitch practicing session.
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

This hands-on workshop teaches you how to pitch and/or improve your pitching abilities, so that you can convince a production company, manager, or agent to read your script/book or treatment.
