The fifth annual Hollywood Film Festival wrapped Monday night at the BevHilton with the feature nod going to "An American Rhapsody," directed by Eva Gardos, and international feature going to "Girl From Rio," directed by Christopher Monger.

"Moulin Rouge," which was earlier tapped as Hollywood Movie of the Year along with nods to stars Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, also received trophies during the gala.

Kidman and McGregor were on hand to pick up their actress and actor of the year trophies from director Baz Luhrmann and thesp Cameron Diaz, respectively.

"It's an acknowledgment that more difficult, riskier films can be embraced on a broader level," Kidman said in accepting her trophy.

The "Moulin Rouge" awards were announced earlier this summer after fans voted at Variety.com and Entertainment Tonight Online Web sites and at Hollywood Video stores nationwide.

Among the newly announced awards, "Cunnamulla" received the doc nod, "Lurch" for shorts and "F8" for animated film.

Fest screened 44 shorts, docs and features over the five-day period.

Hollywood Film Fest prexy Carlos de Abreu, who founded the org in 1997, said: "The idea is to have this event in Hollywood, by Hollywood, but for everybody, for the global creative community."

More than 1,200 attended the gala including presenters Robert Wise, Harrison Ford, Sandra Bullock, Charlize Theron, Penny Marshall and Diaz. "ET" anchor Julie Moran hosted.
