The Hollywood Film Foundation is a non-profit
organization established to support and promote culturally diverse
filmmaking. The mandate of the Hollywood Film Foundation is to bridge
the gap between filmmakers from the U.S. and the global creative community
and established Hollywood professionals by facilitating access to
education, funds, professionals, and resources, as well as promoting
the production capabilities of Hollywood and the filming opportunities
in the State of California |

The Hollywood Humanitarian
Council was created to give a voice to the voiceless through the visual
medium. It provides for the Hollywood Humanitarian Symposium, which
is comprised of panel discussions and screenings showcasing important social and humanitarian
themes. In addition, the Council selects the recipient for the yearly
Hollywood Humanitarian Award which is presented during the Hollywood
Movie Awards®. Last year's recipient of the Hollywood Humanitarian Award was Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. José Ramos Horta. For a list of the major figures in Hollywood and the world community who are Council members, click here.
