He sets out on the assignment with his usual lethal professionalism. Yet every time Victor has Rose in his sights something holds him back. Entranced by the spirited Rose, Victor spares her life and becomes her protector, accidentally acquiring a young apprentice (Rupert Grint) into the bargain. Now on the run, Victor has to fight both his feelings for Rose and the murderous attentions of 'the second most expensive' assassin (Martin Freeman), sent to finish off all three of them.

HOLLYWOOD DISCOVERY AWARDS®: The "Hollywood Discovery Awards" honor the winners of the Hollywood Film Festival's selected finalists in the categories of Features - drama/comedy, Documentaries, Shorts, and Music Videos. The finalists are culled from films from the global creative community.
Criteria:The awards' criteria is based on the quality of filmmaking in all of its different disciplines.
Selection Protocol:Winners are selected by HFF's in-house team.
Venue:The Hollywood Discovery Awards® are bestowed upon the winners the evening of the last screening day at ArcLight Cinemas.

BE DISCOVERED: "For up-and-coming filmmakers looking for a break the festival is the ultimate networking opportunity", said Daily Variety. Some of our film finalists have been acquired by HBO, Miramax, IFC, and Starz among other distributors, and filmmakers have secured agents, managers and jobs.

SUCCESS STORIES: HFF is proud to announce that their winner Craig Brewer, director of "Hustle and Flow" and "Black Snake Moan," was discovered by the Hollywood Film Festival® with the world premiere of his first film "Poor and Hungry." Another HFF winner, director Robert DeFranco, sold his film "Telling You" to Miramax. Our winner Zoe Clarke-Williams got a directing job for an MGM film after we honored her. In addition, our winning documentarian Janine Hoskins sold her documentary "My Khmer Heart" to HBO.


Our premieres have included films from Disney/Buena Vista, DreamWorks, Lionsgate, Miramax, Newmarket/Picturehouse, Paramount Studios, Paramount Classics, Strand Releasing, United Artists, and Warner Bros., among many other major and independent distributors, and our Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony honorees and presenters have been a virtual "who's who" of Hollywood's A-list talent and Hollywood studio executives.

The festival program includes screenings of both domestic and international films, as well as emerging and established filmmakers. All screenings and premieres take place at the state-of-art ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood.

We offer both beginning and established filmmakers what they need most: highlighting their films in Hollywood.
